Queensland's Great Barrier Reef islands are ideally suited
for honeymooners, families and divers - in fact anyone looking
for an idyllic, exotic and pristine holiday destination that
is a rare escape from a stressful world.
Accommodation on the islands varies and anything from camping
to 5 star is on offer. Access to the islands also varies
and can be a daily launch, through to scheduled ferry’s
and flights.
As these islands are a tourist Mecca, employment is nearly
always available. Needing everything from Chefs and
Housekeepers to Electricians and General Managers there is
surely the right role on offer. Accommodation for staff
varies and is sometimes offered as ‘live on’ depending
on the role and the islands location. Other islands
are close enough to the mainland to offer the flexibility
so people can ‘live off’ and commute daily to
work.
